20th anniversary of Independence RT celebrated in Turkey

The official celebration devoted to the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan State Independence was held in the capital of Turkey, Ankara, on September 15. This event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Republic of Turkey.

In the event were attended the Minister of Turkey Cevdet Yilmaz, representatives of diplomatic corps accredited in Turkey, representatives of the Tajik Diaspora, businessmen, as well as local and foreign media.
In his speech, Tajik Ambassador in the Turkish Republic Farrukh Sharipov said that "independence is a priceless blessing, which Tajiks have gained after hundred centuries.

For over 20 years of independence, Tajikistan was able to achieve a priceless wealth, as well as national unity, and also achieved high success in the spheres of economy, politics, culture and social life. It is encouraging that today's event on the 20th anniversary of Independence of the RT held in a friendly and brotherly country Turkey.

We have the great mission of rebuilding, which has been expressed for centuries ago the great Rumi in his works, "said Farrukh Sharipov.
During the ceremony the Minister of Development of Turkey Cevdet Yilmaz said that Turkey and Tajikistan connects rich culture, and one of the examples cited Mavlono Jaloliddini Rumi. The Minister stressed that both countries have a good basis for further cooperation and expressed hope for strengthening bilateral cooperation.

In the framework of the event was organized the exhibition, which was exhibited more than 60 photo pictures, which was captured on the history of Tajikistan for over 20 years of independence. (Translated by D.Azizov)
