Q.Qosimov met with M. Sinasyor

Dushanbe, November 12. (NIAT "Khovar", D. Khairullo).- The Minister of Agriculture of Tajikistan Qosim Qosimov held talks with the newly appointed coordinator of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Central Asian and Tajikistan Mustafa Sinasyor.

In the course of the meeting, the Minister identified some areas for further collaboration with FAO.

In particular, it was suggested that cooperation in areas such as improving human resources staff of the agricultural sector, capacity building for integrated protection of gardens from pests and diseases, improving the training and educational materials.
"The next area of our cooperation with the FAO is opening five-year program to combat locusts to the region. Our representatives attended the meeting which was held in Tbilisi from 24 to 28 of October, where discussed this program - said the Minister of Agriculture of the RT. (Translated by Daler Azizov)
