QUESTIONS OF PREVENTION OF CONSEQUENCES OF GLOBAL CRISIS HAVE DISCUSSED IN THE MFA OF TAJIKISTAN
Dushanbe, 14 July. (NIAT «Khovar», Nargis Boyahmedova, Anushervony Gayratzod). - In Dushanbe the previous day, July 13, met the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdullo Yuldoshev with the Troika delegation of the European Union. As NIAT «Khovar» at the MFA of the Republic of Tajikistan, the parties discussed the priorities of the Swedish presidency of the EU in relations with Tajikistan, the issues preventing the effects of global financial and economic crisis, development of regional cooperation, the situation in Afghanistan and other neighboring states. It was noted that the active role of Tajikistan in the implementation of the EU Strategy in Central Asia, the strengthening of stability in the region and improve the situation in Afghanistan.
Also during the meeting discussed the organization of a number of important events with the participation of senior representatives of the European Union and the countries of Central Asia before the end of the year. European Troika was represented by Jan Nyberg - Director of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, as current EU presidency, Pierre Morel - EU Special Representative for Central Asia and Thomas Frellezen - Deputy Chief of Mission Office of the European Commission to Central Asia.
