The project CASA – 1000 reviewed in Pakistan

The press briefing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Zubaidullo Zubaidov held at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Islamabad, on September 8, 2011.

At a press briefing Tajik ambassador informed in detail the meaning of independence for the Tajik people and stages of development and strengthening of the state of Tajikistan. He noted that during the years of independence, the Republic of Tajikistan in spite of difficult times and obstacles in its way has made great successes.
At the end of the event from the media representatives were asked several questions, particularly about the state of trade and economic relations between our countries, the organization of direct air links, on the project CASA-1000; about the position of the Republic of Tajikistan in combating international terrorism in Pakistan and Afghanistan and others.

All of them were submitted prepared written materials, dedicated to 20th anniversary of independence, as well as the Speech of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the occasion of Independence Day of RT.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RT, the event was attended by more than 50 members of the press and TV in Pakistan. (Translated by D.Azizov)
