Next important step on achievement of energy independence

Dushanbe, July 14. (NIAT “Khovar”).-During the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Azerbaijan have been achieved a number of important agreements for cooperation development between “Tajik aluminum company” (TALCO) and Azerbaijani aluminum enterprise “Azeraluminum”.

The details of this cooperation are particularly reflected in Memorandum on cooperation development between TALCO and “Azeraluminum”.

In accordance with trilateral agreement between TALCO, “Azeraluminum” and American company “Socar Foster Wheeler” on the South of Tajikistan must be constructed enterprise on processing of oil.
Azerbaijani President Ilhom Aliev has ordered to responsible officials of his country to use all necessary measures for ensuring of “Tajik aluminum company” (TALCO) with coke and other necessary materials at discounted prices.

I.Aliev expressed interest in development of trade-economic cooperation with Tajikistan and ordered to heads of corresponding structures of Azerbaijan to study the investment projects of Tajikistan for participation in its implementation. (Translated by M.Ismatova)
