On 31 July, 2012, meeting of the Minister of Finance of Tajikistan Safarali Najmiddinov with the International Monetary Fund mission under the leadership of Chief of Mission Jonathan Dunn was held in Dushanbe.

The sides discussed the implementation of the budget in 2012, a draft budget for 2013 and medium period, the expenditures budget for social services, measures to increase revenue and matters of general policy, as was reported NIAT "Khovar" at the Ministry of Finance of the country.

As part of the IMF program, Jonathan Dunn shared his thoughts on the implementation of predictive control indicators of macroeconomic and fiscal policy.

At the same time the mission of conducting the necessary discussions on the main directions of economic policy with the relevant offices of the Tajikistan's Ministry of Finance.
