IMF Mission is interested in Tajikistan economic development

Dushanbe, August 3. (NIAT “Khovar”).-

Issues of economic state and prospects of economic development have been discussed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Sharif Rahimzoda and IMF Mission headed by Jonathan Dun.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, issues of cooperation of Tajikistan with international organizations and financial institutions in particular with International Monetary Fund have been touched upon at the meeting.

J. Dun has interested in prospects of economic development of Tajikistan, in macro- economic indicators for the next 2-3 years, in measures which have been taken by the country’s government in this direction.

In his turn Sh.Rahimzoda noted that during the next session of the government has been adopted the prospective plan of macro-economic indicators on 2013-2015, in which the ways of achievements of the economic growth are noted.

In the course of the meeting the revised Tax Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the state of country’s financial and banking sector, the construction of large and small HPP, in particular the way of processing of the Strategy of reducing the poverty on 2013-2015 have been discussed.
