Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University - 15 years

Dushanbe, September 16. (NIAT "Khovar", Ch.Ehrlich). Today, Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University marks its 15-anneversary. On this day, a solemn event will be conducted in the university, which will bring together faculty and students headed by the rector RTSU, doctor of philological sciences, Professor Mahmadusuf Imomov.
At the festive ceremony dedicated to 15th anniversary of the establishment of Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University is expected to attend the Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.

It is worth mentioning that Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University was opened in 1996 and is an interstate institution of higher education of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation, having the status of state universities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan. The university is a bastion of (Slavic) culture in Tajikistan.
Currently RTSU operate five faculties: Economics, Philology, Faculty of History and International Relations, Law, Faculty Preparatory and supplementary educational services.

In the meantime, 2215 and 3612 full-time students are being studied at the university, respectively, 1397 part-time students with correspondence courses. In RTSU are leading their activities 200 teachers, from which 22 doctors of sciences, professors, 81 associate professors and candidates of science. The University has three educational buildings, 8 teaching labs, 107 classrooms and offices. The university’s library has a reading room, located in the main building, there are more than 15 000 copies of educational literature. Also, has its own printing and publishing, providing publication of educational materials, manuals and other necessary goods in the training process. (Translated by D.Azizov)
