Over 30 thousand students must enter country’s Universities and Institutes

Dushanbe, August 9. (NIAT “Khovar”).-

According to the plan for 2012 and 2013 in the Universities and Institutes of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan must enter 30 thousands 300 students that is more for 2 thousand 219 students in comparison with the last year. From this number 11 thousand 906 people have been admitted on the budget places and 18 thousand 394 on the contract.

According to the notes of admissions to the beginning state deposit of entrance examinations from the applicants have been received 32 thousand 709 documents.
According to the words of the Head of the Department of high professional and after diplomas education of the Ministry of Education of Tajikistan Alidoda Rasulov, in this year the most demanded are: Medical University of Tajikistan named after Abuali ibni Sino, Tajik Technical University named after M.Osimi, Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University, Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Aini, Tajik Commercial University and Tajik State Institute of languages named after S. Ulughzoda, Technical Institute in Khujand city. This is due to the fact that the majority of young people eager to learn specialty – jurisprudence, economy, foreign languages, journalistic, computer programming.

Almost in all Universities and Institutes have been summed up the first written exams on composing, presentation and dictation. Test of knowledge of applicants on other subjects are continuing by the way of testing and taking of special subjects.

The results on entrance examinations will be announced after their conclusion and appeals in the middle of August.

It should be mentioned that 30 Universities and Institutes and their 9 branches are registered in the republic. (Translated by M.Ismatova)
