Deputy Head of the MFA RT met with his Kyrgyz counterpart in Tashkent

Dushanbe, November 16. (NIAT "Khovar", P.Nazarov).- In the framework of the 5th Forum on Cooperation between the Republic of Korea and Central Asian countries, in Tashkent the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidov held talks with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea Pak Suk-Hwan.

The sides were discussed prospects of bilateral relations in areas such as the further formation of legal base, the expansion of cooperation within the framework of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), as well as to strengthen cooperation in economic, cultural, scientific and educational cooperation.

Moreover, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Aytmurzaev.

In the course of the talks, N. Aytmurzaev had informed his Tajik counterpart on the outcome of the presidential elections and the current socio-political situation in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. The sides have been discussed prospects for further development and strengthening of bilateral relations, the Department of Information, press, analysis and policy planning of the MFA RT reports.
