The Head of the MFA RT met with his Afghan counterpart

Dushanbe, December 6. (NIAT “Khovar”, P. Nazarov).-The meeting of the Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi with the Afghan Foreign Minister Zalmay Rasul was held in Bonn, on December 3.

During the meeting the sides have exchanged views on the agenda of the forthcoming international conference on Afghanistan and discussed the practical issues of bilateral and regional cooperation. There was noted the special significance of further working out and the realization of infrastructures and other projects of regional significance, promoting social and economic revival of Afghanistan and the strengthening of integration processes.

H. Zarifi has noted the preparation of Tajikistan in rendering comprehensive assistance to the government of Afghanistan and its population in the decision of important social and economic problems, ensuring peace and stability in this country.


The Foreign Ministers also discussed the issues of the preparation and conducting of RECCA-V at high level in Dushanbe, on March 2012, according to the Department of Information, Press, Analysis and Foreign Policy Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
