N. Zohidov: Tajikistan and Russia do not force the process of the negotiations for airdrome “Aini”
Dushanbe, January 31. (NIAT “Khovar”).- “Republic of Tajikistan and Russian Federation do not force the process of the negotiations for airdrome ‘’Aini” in Tajikistan”, had declared the deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Nizimiddin Zohidov, in Dushanbe, at the end of the last week.
“On the last press-conference the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Hamrokhon Zarifi announced that “Tajikistan for the range of the aerodrome “Aini” is negotiating only with Russia”. For this issue the treatments are continuing on the level of expert groups, and both sides do not force the negotiation’s process.
For this issue about the 201 military base of the Russian Federation in Tajikistan, deputy Minister had noted that, Republic of Tajikistan was suggested by Russian Federation, and there was established the inter-sector committee to study this issue. (Translated by M.Ismatova)
