Telephone talk of the Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Afghanistan

Dushanbe, February 9. (NIAT “Khovar”).-Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi held a telephone conversation with the Afghani Minister for Foreign Affairs Zalmay Rasul on February 7.
In the course of conversation H. Zarifi had expressed gratitude to his Afghan counterpart for assistance in release of the Tajik citizen Yakov Tsoy who was kept in Afghan prison.
Further, Foreign Ministers of two states discussed the issues of preparation to the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA-V) to be held in Dushanbe on March 26-27. The issues related to regional projects for organizing infrastructure and communications, which will be presented during the conference with participation of Tajikistan, Afghanistan and other interested states, international and regional organizations had been considered as well, the Department of Information, Press, Analysis and Foreign Policy Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan reported.
