Belorussia-Tajikistan - cooperation in sphere of energy

Dushanbe, February 21 (NIAT “Khovar”).-
On February 17, Ambassador of Tajikistan in the Republic of Belorussia Qozidavlat Qoimdodov met with representatives of CJSC “Electric-technical Company TandZ” under leadership of Director for development I.I. Degtryaev .
Tajik Ambassador told about internal and foreign policy of state, strategy of its development in all economic directions, the importance of hydro technical facilities, in particular construction of Roghun hydroelectric power station (HPS).
There was noted, that during his official visit in Tajikistan Belorussian President A.Lukashenko expressed political support in construction of HPS Roghun, calling it strategically important and vitally necessary for Tajik nation.
Representatives of company expressed interest to energy projects, in particular to participation in reconstruction and modernization are being new large and small hydro power stations by establishing international consortium for electricity energy with involving their finance partners.
Administrative of “Electro-technical Company TandZ” expressed readiness to meetings with administrative of corresponding ministries and agencies of Tajikistan and participation in business rounds in the framework of Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan to be held in Dushanbe, in March 26-29, Embassy of Tajikistan to Belorussia informed.
