Meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Lithuania
Dushanbe, July 10. (NIAT “Khovar”).-
On July 8, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidov who is on a working visit in Tokyo has met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Lithuania Evaldas Ignatavighus.
In the course of the meeting issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, border management and economic development in Afghanistan through the projects’ construction having regional significance have been discussed.
During the meeting Lithuanian Deputy Foreign Minister on behalf of Foreign Minister of Lithuania has addressed the invitation to Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi to attend the International Conference “Afghanistan and region: practical action on sustainable development” to be held in Vilnius, on September 12, 2012.
NIAT “Khovar” has been reported in the Department of Information, Press, Analysis and Foreign Policy Planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. (Translated by M.Ismatova)
