Dear compatriots!
Distinguished guests!

With pride in these joyful holidays of our grand history of the holiday - the twentieth anniversary of national independence once again congratulate all the ancient, cultured, patriotic and creative people of Tajikistan and wish that in every Tajik family and the families of our overseas compatriots dominated by peace, stability, prosperity, happiness as well as in our independent country - peace, stability, unity and solidarity.

Today's festivities will begin with a military parade, that is, the representatives of all branches of the Armed Forces, which were created by the state independence.

At the initial stage of our country's independence, despite the fact that the economic opportunities of the young state of Tajikistan was limited, we are almost out of nothing created the National Army to continue to take all immediate steps to establish a permanent organization and activities of other military organizations and law enforcement bodes.

The entire Tajik nation remembers what dedication and courage demonstrated personnel of the Armed Forces and law enforcement bodies of the young independent state to ensure peace, stability, order and rule of law.

On the way to restore peace and tranquility of society and constitutional order of thousands of brave soldiers and officers of military organizations and law enforcement bodies have lost their lives. Today we are in these exciting moments of our great national holiday, a kind word recall their names and feats.

State and Government of independent Tajikistan in order to create favorable conditions for development of service military, law enforcement and other military units, to ensure their readiness in the future also will direct all the resources and capabilities, and are confident that the personnel of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan will always be ready to protect the peace, stability and tranquility of society, the country's integrity and protect the achievements of the independence of their dear homeland.

Dear friends!

We are now proud to remember those twenty years ago on the basis of an important document fateful - Statements on State Independence of September 9, 1991 was proclaimed the Republic of Tajikistan as a free and sovereign state.

State independence is the result of centuries of hopes and aspirations, as well as a long struggle and desires of the Tajik people in their meandering ancient historical ways.
For the idea of independence, freedom and the desire to achieve independent statehood is always on for over a thousand years, was alive in the minds, brain and thoughts of our culture-the people.
By the will of history today, we see not only the fulfillment of the aspirations of their ancestors thousands of years, but they themselves are creating a state that already in the international arena has its own special place and prestige.

Following the acquisition of national independence, we needed to turn to their ancient culture and spirituality, as well as the experience of our forefathers in the creation of the state, learn from the experience of creating a state of advanced countries in the world and most importantly, instruct the whole nation on a way of self-knowledge and strengthen this great national achievement.
For independence is for us the symbol of the city, fame, fortune, sovereignty and stability condition and the eternity of our free-thinking, wise and glorious nation.

State independence is for us - a very expensive Tajiks and sacred gift and therefore we have to put independence above all other values. For in the modern world full of contradictions respect and recognition can only come by the people and nation that have real independence as well as free and sovereign State.
Despite the fact that twenty-year path to independence, especially in its early years, brought us a lot of difficulties and hardships, but through the eternal wisdom of the cultural and peace-loving, tolerant and hardworking of the Tajik people we have gone through all these difficulties and gravity.
The political independence of the Tajik people confronted the great historical task, among the most important of which were to form the basis of the sovereign and the modern nation-state, the strengthening of peace, stability, national unity, state security and society, beginning the process of creation, development, and achieves a decent standard and quality of life in the country.
As a result of good work proud of the Tajik people were gradually achieved sustained and stable development of socio-economic sectors in the country, each year improving the level and quality of life. Now we are witnessing the profound political, socio-economic transformation in the society of our country.

Glorious Tajik people now hardly and selflessly working to strengthen the foundations of an independent state. On this auspicious day, we can confidently say that the realization of strategic goals of our state will allow independent Tajikistan in the near future to take its rightful place in the structure of international economic relations in general and in the international arena.
Dear Friends!
The way we have chosen has only one aim - the achievement of every inhabitant of the country's life and welfare of the nation's development in the twenty-first century.

But in this process, each of us must remember that to achieve these good intentions and a happy life must have put a lot of work and effort. For the improvement of the country and calm the population requires each of us round the clock activities, and conscientious and honest work.

I am deeply convinced that every citizen of independent Tajikistan, including the proud and ambitious young, wise and patriotic intelligentsia in general, all members of society, using all the resources and capabilities, gradually implement all started work and the plans will make a worthy contribution to an even greater improve the level and quality of life of our people.

Let the good memories of glorious sons of the nation who gave their lives to protecting and preserving the state of Tajiks, always helps in this good business!

Let the eternal national unity, peace and stability, the high and lofty dreams of independence, creative purposes will be a guide for young and old dear Tajikistan!

Let there be eternal building independence and pride of Tajiks!
