President of Tajikistan will attend and speak at 7 “Rio+20” Conference events during the three days

Dushanbe, June 21. (NIAT "Khovar"). -

During the three days of the work of high-level UN Conference on sustainable development, which will proceed from 20th to 22nd of June, the Head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will attend and speak at its 7 events.

It should be noted that the main goal of this conference is to coordinate the Sustainable Development Goals, which will replace the Millennium Development Goals after 2015. As it is stressed, the essence of these goals consists of “green economy”, or an ecologically clean economy.

According to information of organizers of the Conference, this event will be held with participation of leaders of states and governments of 135 countries of the world, high-ranking representatives of regional and international organizations, as well as international experts.
