Emomali Rahmon has visited a number of Azerbaijani industrial enterprises

Dushanbe, July 13. (NIAT “Khovar”).-
Today the President of the country Emomali Rahmon visited a number of industrial enterprises of Azerbaijan and held constructive talks on the establishment of cooperation with relevant structures of our country.

The Head of State Emomali Rahmon firstly went to the enterprise for production of solar cell panels – Azguntek and got familiarized with its work. As it was noted, it produces the panels and other necessary items for solar and wind stations. It was also informed that the industrial production of such product and its wide usage conforms to the requirements of “green economy” or prevention from environment pollution.

During the visit to Sumgait Technopark (STP) there was informed that it produces different equipment and spare parts for power substations, including various wires, isolator, solar cell panels, solar heating systems, bare conductors and low- and high-voltage power cable for usage in industry and household.

The Greentech enterprise has been established by the foreign investors. They have established production of tomato and other vegetables in the area of 10 hectares in greenhouses and each year produce up to 6 thousand tons of products.

During the talk with Emomali Rahmon the investors of this enterprise expressed interest in establishment of such enterprise in Tajikistan, which has favorable nature.
The issues of cooperation in extraction and industrial processing of petrol in Tajikistan have been discussed at the meeting.

As it was noted, the mentioned enterprise is ready to conduct a technical and economic evaluation of establishment of one petroleum processing enterprise in the south of Tajikistan. It is expected that this enterprise will be established by joint investment and participation of Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
