Telephone talk between E.Rahmon and H.Karzai

Dushanbe, July 25. (NIAT “Khovar”).-

Today, at the initiative of Afghan side has been held the telephone talk between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai.

The sides have exchanged opinions relatively on situation in Badakhshon region of Tajikistan and noted that the situation’s stabilization, ensuring of security of region’s population are the particular and main aim of efforts, attached in this direction.

The Heads of two friendly countries agreed that two sides will implement activity initiatives for supplying the normal situation in the border of Afghanistan and Tajikistan and prevention of every terroristic and illegal activity.

Afghan President H.Karzai stated that by his order in the border with Khorugh area have been directed additional military and border forces in order to implement the previously mentioned objectives.

Two Presidents stressed that to the final decision of this event, between the Presidents of Afghanistan and Tajikistan and the relevant structures of the two countries will be held a constant and effective communication.
