B. Muhammadi: “Together we will solve Khorugh event”

Dushanbe, July 30. (NIAT “Khovar”).-

On July 26, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has received the leaders of security and military structures of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, included the Minister of Interior Bismillokhon Muhammadi and the General Chairman of National Security of Afghanistan Rahmatullo Nabil. The meeting has been conducted in regard with event in Badakhshon region of Tajikistan. The sides have discussed issues of the strengthening protection of borders between the two countries in the mountainous regions of Badakhshon.

Bismillokhon Muhammadi – the Minister of Interior of Afghanistan at the briefing has reported that Afghan President Hamid Karzai ordered to take necessary measures in prevention of smugglers’ illegal acts in Khorugh. He stressed that Tajik people have assisted Afghanistan and it is our duty to help our friendly and neighbor country in strengthening security. (Translated by M.Ismatova)
