On July 27, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon received Ambassadors of France, Great Britain, Germany, Head of EU Mission, Charge d’affaires of the US Embassy and Charge d’affaires of the OSCE Mission.

The current situation in Khorugh city and ways of solution of the emerged problem has been discussed at the meeting.

The Head of State Emomali Rahmon categorically argued that the goal of special operations of security and defense bodies is the detention and prosecution of the criminals, first of all the killers of the Head of Department of the State Committee on National Security Abdullo Nazarov.

In this regard, the substantial reports of the Prosecutor General Sherkhon Salimzoda and Director of Drug Control Agency Rustam Nazarov have been heard.

Concerning the special operations of law enforcement agencies in Khorugh city, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon said the following: “All measures will be taken so that the armed illegal groups lay down arms and observe law and order”.
