During the meeting the sides discussed issues of regional cooperation in Central Asia, water and energy issues, suggestions for further strengthening of the UN Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA), national and regional priorities in the UN Post 2015 Development Agenda. Furthermore the preparation to the High-Level International Conference on Water Cooperation to be held on August 20-21, 2013 in Dushanbe in accordance with the UN General Assembly resolution 67/204 has been discussed. Over the recent years “Kayrakkum” carpet enterprise has been reconstructed and rehabilitated first of all due to efforts of head of state Emomali Rahmon. All equipment and manufacturing lines have been renovated. Manufacturing of products in this enterprise increased for two and half times in 2012 in comparison to the average volume of this indicator for 2000-2005. High-quality carpets are sown in modern devices produced in Germany, Italy, Japan, France, Poland and Russian Federation. The enterprise annually produces 1 million 300 thousand sq. m. of carpets and other products with its current capacity. Head of state Emomali Rahmon instructed “to raise this output capacity to 2 million 600 thousand sq. m. in one next year and in future to 5-6 million”. As it was noted, this enterprise has been commissioned on the basis of an old enterprise of silk of Khujand city, which has been working in recent years only with 5% of its project capacity. Several buildings of this great enterprise have currently been reconstructed at the expense of more than 2 million TJS of Khujand-Invest-Cotton funds. 44 units new modern equipment have been obtained for 55 million TJS and old machinery have been rehabilitated. Thus, 800 former workers of the enterprise, who were on indefinite leave, have been reemployed and 300 new workers have been given jobs and the total number of workers has reached 1100. The first floor consists of fast food hall with 70 seats and service hall. 21 children’s circumcision celebration ceremony, which live in children’s house of Khujand and who are from poor families, has been held in this hall. Head of state Emomali Rahmon at first got familiarized with the course of construction and equipment of the first presidential kindergarten, which will have a lot of modern innovations. As it was informed, the construction of this kindergarten in Khujand city began at the end of February 2013 and from 16 million TJS of budgetary funds envisaged for this cause 5,7 million TJS have been spent for construction and assembling works. The main building of kindergarten will have a swimming pool for children, hall for musical classes and computer room. The kindergarten will also possess 16 playgrounds for children, one sports field, and one area for study of road circulation safety. According to the project, the kindergarten was planned to be built in 5 two-storied buildings for 640 gifted children. Head of state Emomali Rahmon proposed to construct buildings with three floors with use of light construction materials and to raise the number of children to 1000. In Shaydon town of Asht district a modern sports complex with good training conditions for different kinds of sports and physical training and with 300 seats available for spectators has been opened with the participation of head of state. As it was informed, the two-floor building of sports complex has been constructed at the expense of 1 mln 700 thousand Somoni budgetary funds and has halls for playing volleyball, basketball, boxing, wrestling and fitness club. An open talk has taken place between the Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and sportsmen of the district. They promised to leader of the country to reach the highest peaks of sports in the authoritative regional and international competitions through use of good conditions of this sports complex. In this town President Emomali Rahmon presented the educational sphere of Asht district with 100 computers and thus the indicators of state programme for computerization of schools of districts has almost been 100% completed. The asphalting of local roads has been commenced with the participation of head of state Emomali Rahmon in the center of Asht district. 5 km of town’s roads should be reconstructed with use of budgetary funds in the shortest period. In future another 2 km of roads of center of the district should be reconstructed with own funds of the road-building company and the remaining 5 km with the support of local business community. Thus, the reconstruction of roads of the center of this district will be fully completed. In farming economy Amir of town community Shaydon of Asht district President Emomali Rahmon got familiarized with the activities of facilities for storage and packaging of fresh and dried fruits for export, which is well-known by the name of “Zardolu and company”. Zardolu and company facilities have been constructed and commissioned in 2012 at the expense of 645 thousand Somoni of funds of 8 farming gardening economies of the district and 30% of funds of foreign partners. These facilities consist of 4 parts and their general territory amounts to 675 cubic meters. Their first part has been designated for the reception of fruits, the second part for their assortment, cleaning and packaging for export, third part for storage in refrigerators and fourth part for loading to special cargo vehicles equipped with refrigerators. The facilities can receive and prepare for export up to 50 tons of fresh fruits on a daily basis. Up to 200 tons of fruits are stored simultaneously in refrigerating houses of the facilities under necessary degree. 600 tons of fresh fruits and 70 tons of dried fruits have been sold last year by Zardolu and company.
