Tajik Defense Minister met with French Defense Minister

Dushanbe, January 4. (NIAT "Khovar", L.Eshonqulova). -The issues of regional security and development of the Tajik-French military and military-technical cooperation were discussed in Dushanbe during the visit of French Defense Minister Gerard Languet with the Tajik Defense Minister Sherali Khairulloev, on January 1, 2012.

In the course of the meeting, the situation in Afghanistan was touched upon, where the French Defense Minister said that after the withdrawal of coalition forces from Afghanistan in 2014 a group of military specialists of France will remain in this country. (Translated by D.Azizov)
