The issues of social protection of labor migrants were discussed in Dushanbe

Dushanbe, November 22. (NIAT “Khovar”, L.Eshonqulova).- The issues of the interrelation in sphere of labor migrants were discussed in a meeting of the first deputy Director of the Migration service under the Government of the RT Alisher Boboev and the advisor of the World Bank Thomas Achacoso with Tajik Minister of labor and social protection Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov, on November 21.

During the meeting were discussed the issues of the labor migrant’s learning to the necessary profession, having demand in international labor market, involving remittances of labor migrants in economic development of Tajikistan, as well as social security and labor protection.

Minister of labor and social protection of Tajikistan M.Mahmadaminov has expressed gratitude to the Representative of the World Bank in Tajikistan for their contribution in the solving labor migrations’ problems and expressed the hope for the further cooperation and preparation in supporting the Migration service under the Government of the RT, according to the press-center of Migration service.
