Migrants will have the possibility register their legal situation in Russian Federation

Dushanbe, December 7. (NIAT “Khovar”, L. Eshonqulova).-The meeting of the Head of the Migration Service under the Government of Republic of Tajikistan Safiallo Devonaev with the Director of Russian Federal Migration Service Constantin Romadonovskiy was held in headquarters of Russian Federal Migration service, on December 5.


During the meeting were discussed the issues of the current migration situation in Russian Federation, interaction of two agencies in complex events directed to the reduction of illegal labor migration, the establishment of mechanisms for its prevention. The sides exchanged views on ideas and concrete suggestions for realization of programs of Russian language learning, deployment medical checkup system of labor migrants arriving, according to the press-center of the Representation of Migration service under the Government of Republic of Tajikistan in Russian Federation.

The Director of Federal Migration service has reported that the service will begin the realization of pilot program for giving patents on working on Tajikistan’s territory. This project will be realized with agencies’ cooperation and firstly will be oriented in Moscow region, the source said.

Innovation will facilitate labor migrants’ costs and save time for the preparation of necessary documents still in the motherland. Gathering packet of documents (as well as receipt for payment of fees in the branches of Russian “Sberbank” in Tajikistan) will be directed through the Tajikistan Migration service in Russian Federal Migration service, which in its turn, after the necessary registration’s procedures will direct the patent to the Representation of Migration service under the Government of Tajikistan in Moscow. In this way, Tajik labor migrants will have the possibility to register their legal situation in Russia even having been in the motherland and receive the patent after arriving in Moscow.
