Japan has supported development projects in the Rasht Valley

The official ceremony of delivery project for the construction of a bridge in Jamoat "Lyahsh" Jirgital district was held on July 10.

The project for reconstruction of the bridge and recovery of the road to Jamoat "Lyahsh" Jirgital district "totaling $ 112 thousand 195 $ U.S. which was supported by the Government of Japan under the grant aid projects, humanitarian safety for the general population has been successfully completed, according to the Embassy of Japan in Tajikistan.

In the framework of the project was designed long bridge 18m, rebuilt the road on both sides of the bridge length of 6.150 meters, thanks to which more than 6 thousand 550 local residents have access to the administrative center of Jirgital district.

The putting in commission ceremony of the bridge was attended by Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan Hiroyuki Imahashi, Chairman of the Jirgital District Zoir Umedhodzhaev and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan Hudzhovuddin Isroilov.

Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan Hiroyuki Imahashi also took part in the ceremony of the project for the construction of mini hydropower plant in the "Hoit" village and Jamoat of "Hoit" Rasht district.

The Government of Japan under the grant aid projects and humanitarian safety for the wider population provided a grant totaling $ 95 thousand 565 U.S. dollars for the "Project for the construction of mini hydropower plants in Jamoat of " Hoit" Rasht district.

In the framework of project was built mini-hydropower station 120 kW / h. At the same time have been installed a new turbine and generator to another mini-hydropower plant with capacity of 35 kW / h, built by local residents. The project will give possibility of general institutions, especially schools and hospitals access to electricity so that they can fully carry out its activities all year round. In addition, private households have regular access to electricity. Through the agency of the provision of electricity will be improved life of population in the Jamoat of "Hoit" Rasht district.
