Appointment of representative of MM MO RT in the Council of Justice

Dushanbe, July 23. (NIAT “Khovar”).-

Recently, the Chairman of the Committee of Majlisi Milli of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan (MM MO RT) Bakhtiyor Khudoyorov, who at the same time held the position of the Head of Executive Office of the republic’s President, at the tenth session of MM, by the corresponding decision, has been elected the representative of MM MO RT in the country’s Council of Justice.

He as an experienced lawyer has worked in different human rights organs of the country. Including from 1992 to 2000 has held the position of the Deputy Minister of Justice, the First Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Supreme Economic Court from 2000 to 2004, Senior Advisor of President on legal policy in 2004-2006, the Head of the Department of Constitutional guarantees of citizens’ rights of the Executive Office of the republic’s President and during the last six years has held the position of the Minister of Justice. From January, 2012 has been appointed as the Head of the Executive Office of the President of the country. Bakhtiyor Khudoyorov is the candidate of juridical sciences. (Translated by M.Ismatova)
