FFT President will participate in FIFA Congress in Budapest
Dushanbe, April 12. (NIAT “Khovar”).-
The President of Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali will participate in Congress of International Federation of Football Association to be conducted in Budapest (Hungary).
On May 24-25 in Budapest will be held FIFA Congress, in which 208 national federations, which are included in International Football Federation, will take part. FIFA Congress is a major legislative body of the organization and will gather for duty session once a year, FFT reported.
It is expected that in Congress the vote will be asked about some of amendments in Organization Charter, who is also a member of the FIFA Executive Committee. In particular, it is planned that the host country of the future world championships will not vote on the FIFA Executive Committee of FIFA but at the Congress.
Moreover, the simultaneous election of two hosts of the next championships is banned. It is planned to elect the 25th member of the Executive Committee from among the women. (Translated by M.Ismatova)
