Tajik army team has won 3 gold medals
Dushanbe, July 16. (NIAT “Khovar”).-
Tajik sportsmen have successfully took part at the 9th Games between the ministries of defense of Commonwealth Independent States, has been conducted in Astana, from July 2 to 11.
According to the press-service of the Defense Ministry of the Republic of Tajikistan, our sportsmen have shown good results in competitions on judo, in which Tajik army team have won 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.
According to the source, Tajik sportsmen have occupied the third place on wrestling in competition.
Over 320 troops from Tajikistan, Russia, Armenia, Belorussia, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have attended the competition.
The competition has been conducted in seven sports.
The next Games of army clubs of the Ministries of Defense of CIS was decided to conduct in Tajikistan, on 2013. (Translated by M.Ismatova)
