Olympiad-2012: Rasoul Boqiev in seven of the best

Famous Tajik judoka Rasoul Boqiev in a weight category (up to 73 kg) in the fight for bronze medal has lost to the French judoka Ugo Legrandu and took the seven place at the Olympic Games in London.

It should be mentioned, that in 1/16 finals R. Boqiev has won his competitor from Great Britain Daniel Williams. Further, in 1/8 finals Rasoul Boqiev has held victory on Uzbek judoka Navruz Jorubqulov and became in ¼ finals, where on scores lost to Japan fighter Nakai Riki.

As well on July 30 from the tournament has been eliminated Tajik boxer Jahon Qurbonov. In his first fight in 1/16 finals he lost to Tunis boxer Yakhya Elmekachari.
In this way, there is else 12 Tajik sportsmen in Olympic Games in London.

Today at the Olympic Games in London will be played 15 sets of awards; the winners will determine the boatmen, divers in the water, riders, fencers, gymnasts, wrestlers, shooters, swimmers and weightlifters.
