Olympiad-2012: M. Chorieva is in semi-final

Dushanbe, August 7. (NIAT “Khovar”).-

Tajik sportswoman at the age of 19-years Mavzuna Chorieva in ¼ of finals has won her first victory at the tournament on boxing on Olympic-Games in London, on August 7.

M. Chorieva met with a 25-year old Cheng Dong from China and won her with the score 13:8 (2:2; 2:1; 4:3; 5:2). In this way, M. Chorieva minimally has won bronze medal of the Olympic Games.

On August 8, in semi-finals M.Chorieva will meet with Irish Katy Tailor.

Another sportswoman Vladislava Ovcharenko could not show the necessary results on qualified round. V. Ovcharenko has won the last place in the group B in running on 200 meters. Her results are (24.39). (Translated by M.Ismatova)
