FROM TAJIKISTAN TO SWITZERLAND NOW THROUGH ALMATA

             Dushanbe, December, 15th. (Farangis Rakhimova, Shoim Mallaev, the NIAT «Khovar»). — In connection with the introduction of Switzerland into the Schengen zone since December, 15th all applications for reception of the Schengen visa by citizens of Tajikistan should go to General Consulate of Switzerland to Almata for the further processing inquiry. The consular agency of Switzerland in Dushanbe stops processing applications for reception of the visa to entrance to Switzerland. About it the NIAT «Khovar» have informed at the Swiss office on cooperation in Tajikistan.             As the contract about cooperation Schengen-Dublin concluded between Switzerland and the European Union is marked in the message, has come into force on March, 1st, 2008. Actually it has come into force on December, 12th, 2008. Since this day, Switzerland will apply all the Schengen rules, concerning issues of visas.             Since December, 12th the foreign citizens having the operating Schengen visa, have the right to entrance on territory of Switzerland. The operating Schengen visa allows the owner to move freely inside of the Schengen Zone and also inside of Switzerland.
