            Dushanbe, December, 12th. (Tojiddin Rizvon, the NIAT "Khovar"). — The Press-service of the President of Republic of Tajikistan informs, that by annual tradition New Year on Christian will be marked in celebratory conditions inherent in it, without any obstacles. The rumors spread among the population that this year the holiday, ostensibly, will not be marked, have no any bases. The relation of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to celebrating of New year on Christian has been accurately formulated by Head of the state Emomali Rahmon in its celebratory address on the occasion of approach of 2008, and it has not undergone changes: «Throughout ancient history we, Tajik, had many systems, including Sougdian, Khorezm, Syrian, on 12-year-old cycle, solar and lunar, but by the developed tradition New year on Christian we also meet songs and fun».            On December, 10th, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has charged to heads of the ministries and departments, state and public organizations and establishments, especially educational and medical, to provide on the eve of New Year fire-prevention safety and a public order. It was informed to the Khovar correspondent in the press-service of the Head of the state.
