IN MARKETS OF TAJIKISTAN THE PRICE FOR IMPORT FOOD STUFFS HAVE BEEN REDUCED

           Dushanbe, December, 25th. (Pokiza Mahmadbekova, Shoim Mallaev, the NIAT «Khovar»). — Before New Year's days in the markets of capital it is not expected increases of the prices for food stuffs. According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade RT, the prices for the basic food stuffs in comparison with November have not changed almost and in some cases even have decreased. According to the State committee of statistics of Tajikistan, within 10 months in republic it has been imported 443, 8 thousand tons of flour and 184, 2 thousand tons of grain.            For today 1 bag of flour I of grade (manufacture of Kazakhstan) cost from 95 up to 100 somoni, the liter of vegetable oil costs from 6 up to 8 somoni. On 2 somoni the price for all have reduced of grade of rice, and now it costs from 4 up to 10 somoni. The prices have decreased on those products which Tajikistan traditionally imports.            The kg of the beef meat still costs 17 somoni, potato — 1, 5 somoni, carrots — 1 somoni, liter of cotton oil — 5 somoni.
