MAJOR TASKS FOR 2009 WERE PLANNED IN THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND TRADE

             Dushanbe, December, 15th. (Pokiza Mahmadbekova, Tojiddin Rizvon, the NIAT "Khovar"). — A round table titled « results for the last year and tasks for 2009» has taken place in the ministry of economic development and trade RT (MEDT). The round table was held with the initiative of MEDT and the United Nations Development Program. The special attention has been paid interrelation of local developments with strategic documents of national value, such, as Strategy of reduction of poverty RТ on 2007-2009 and National strategy of development of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period till 2015.             The project purpose was the effort of effective and responsible management by means of partnership with the governmental institutes of the state level on processes reforming of working out and execution of programs of development and budgeting on regional and area level. Project activity covers 15 pilot districts and 2 oblasts. The action was attended by the representatives of the Strategic Researches Center under the president of the republic of Tajikistan, Institute of improvement of professional skill of state employees, the State statistical Committee RТ, Ministry of Finance RT, some international organizations, and also local executive powers of the government of Sogd and Khatlon provinces.
