R. ALIMOV: “IN 2009 QUANTITIES OF TAJIK STUDENTS IN HIGH SCHOOLS OF CHINA WILL INCREASE TWICE”

          Dushanbe, December, 10th. (Nargiz Boyahmedova, Olga Saprykina, the NIAT "Khovar"). — The Meeting of the ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Peoples Republic of China Rashid Alimov with heads of the higher educational institutions of Beijing where Tajik students get education has taken place in the Chinese capital. R. Alimov noticed that interaction in humanitarian sphere is the important component of dynamically developing Tajik-Chinese cooperation. Last years at the support of heads of Tajikistan and China both countries have achieved practical results in this important direction.            Now in higher educational institutions of the Peoples Republic of China under the grants given by the Government of the Peoples Republic of China, over 60 Tajik students are trained. It is expected that in 2009 their number can increase twice. "If the first years Tajik students wanted to arrive in universities of the Peoples Republic of China basically for studying the Chinese language recently their purpose is to get specialization", — the ambassador noticed.           Participants of the meeting got detailed answers to the questions, expressed opinions, concerning strengthening of cooperation between two countries in educational sphere, national personal training for Tajikistan at the universities of the Peoples Republic of China, and also an establishment of direct LINKS between higher educational institutions of two neighboring countries and an exchange of students. About it the NIAT "Khovar" was informed in the embassy of Tajikistan in China.
