170 SCHOOLS HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED IN TAJIKISTAN IN 2008

         Dushanbe, January, 9th. (Marziya Saidova, Shoim Mallaev, the NIAT «Khovar»). — Results of activity of Ministry of Education RT and the further aspects of its activity have been discussed at a taken place session of board of the given ministry which has taken place with participation of the assistant to Prime Minister RT Rukiya Qurbonova and representatives of subjects of the Ministry of Education. Speaking about development of branch of education in the country, Minister Abdujabbor Rakhmonov has told that only in 2008 in RT have been constructed more than 170 schools for 25 thousand pupils for a total sum of 70 million somoni. Despite of increase in rates of construction of schools till now more than 230 schools spend the occupations in houses or in cars.         Besides it he has noted been that high rates realize the program of computerization of schools. In general about today of 22 thousand complete sets of computer techniques it has been given to schools RT. Within 2008 in republic 37 names of textbooks in circulation in 3 million copies have been published.         At session of board the plan of activity of Ministry of Education RT for 2009 also has been certain.
