COOPERATION BETWEEN TAJIKISTAN AND EBRD WERE DISCUSSED IN DUSHANBE

         Dushanbe, January, 29th. (Nargis Boyakhmedova, Olga Saprykina, the NIAT "Khovar"). — On January, 28th, the Prime minister of Tajikistan Akil Akilov met with the vice-president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Kambar Shaltimbaev. During the meeting parties discussed today's situation and prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The Prime minister of the country declared that Tajikistan supports Tajikistan membership in the given bank, considering that EBRD should bring its contribution in elaboration, realization and financing of those projects which would promote advancement of economy of the region states and represent interests of their peoples.          He expressed hope that in the nearest future EBRD will actively participate in implementation of power lines construction projects. Also other directions of cooperation between Tajikistan and EBRD have been discussed. About it the NIAT "Khovar" was informed in the press-service of the Head of state.
