The share of the Russian currency in remittances has grown on 35 %. The NBT chairman Sharif Rahimzoda announced about it at the final press conference. "In connection with world financial crisis the national bank plans to reduce dollar stocks and to increase volume of reserves in other foreign currencies. From the beginning of the current year the rate of national currency somoni fell against the American dollar by 7 %. In 2009 NBT will try to hold at 3,55 somoni against $1", informed S. Rahimzoda.
