NEW AMBASSADOR OF CYPRUS TO TAJIKISTAN WAS APPOINTED

            Dushanbe, January, 23rd. (Nargis Boyakhmedova, Olga Saprykina, the NIAT "Khovar"). — Newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Russian Federation Petros Kestoras paid a visit to the ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation Abdulmadjid Dostiev. In course of conversation questions of further development of mutual relations were discussed. The parties agreed in opinion that both countries have great potential, first of all, in political, economic, scientific and technical and cultural spheres of cooperation to develop and strengthen mutually advantageous partnership.             As the NIAT "Khovar" was informed in the embassy of Tajikistan to Russia, the ambassador of Cyprus expressed his gratitude for his hearty reception and noticed that he is appointed also to hold the post as the ambassador of the country to the Republic of Tajikistan and in the nearest future he is intended to visit our country to hand credentials to the Head of the state.
