PRIME MINISTER OF TAJIKISTAN VISITED VAHDAT-YAVAN RAILWAY
Dushanbe, January, 26th. (Olga Saprykina, the NIAT "Khovar"). — On January, 24th the Prime minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Akil Akilov visited Vahdat-Yavan railway site the construction of which is planned this year. A.Akilov began his visit with Elok station of Vahdat city and finished at Sultonobod site of Rudaki region. Vahdat-Yavan railway has great importance in transportations inside the republic. The length of this road makes 46 km. The project includes building of 9 bridges. Building will be conducted in 3 stages by Tajik experts. According to preliminary calculations more than 125 million US dollars will be spent for road building. Prime minister of RТ gave orders to the direction of the ministry of transport and communications of RТ, and also departments responsible for building, as soon as possible to finish investigated works, to prepare the civil-engineering design of Vahdat-Yavan railway and to define the basic contractor on the basis of the tender.
