THE GOVERNMENT OF FRANCE WILL ASSIST TAJIKISTAN TO PUT AN END WITH TRANSPORT ISOLATION

         Dushanbe, January, 28th. (Timur Bandishoev, Olga Saprykina, the NIAT "Khovar"). — Today the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received credentials from the new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to RТ Henry Zipper de Fabiani. Upon termination of the meeting with Head of state A. Zipper de Fabiani held press conference for representatives of mass-media. "The moment that the President of the Republic of Tajikistan accepted me so soon from the moment of my arrival in the country, is the good sign for bilateral Tajik-French relations", noted the new ambassador of France to Tajikistan.          According to Henry Zipper de Fabiani, France highly appreciates quality of today's relations with Tajikistan. "Tajikistan not only accepts but also supports our actions on the territory of Afghanistan, noticed the ambassador. We have much common in restoration of peace and stability in the region. As the ambassador of France to Tajikistan I will try to involve as many as possible French investors in Tajik projects, particularly, in projects in the sphere of hydro-power energy, agriculture and development of mountain resources. In hydro-power energy cooperation France and Tajikistan have already great experience. Several years ago the French company "Electricité du France" carried out joint researches on Nurek HYDROELECTRIC POWER STATION".          The new ambassador of France to RТ also noticed that at this moment the government of France pays great attention to the project of new Dushanbe air terminal construction because it will help to put an end with transport isolation. 17 million euro have been already allocated for project implementation. "The government of France is now at the final stage of this process and we hope that in 6 months we will reach all these aims", noted he. "I do not doubt that we will have very successful productivity in this sphere", concluded Henry Zipper de Fabiani.
