“PRESIDENT OF RТ PROMISED THAT BRIDGE IN NIZNIY PIANJ WILL BE OPENED 24 HOUR”, — Т. JACOBSON

             Dushanbe, January, 6th. (Timur Bandishoev, Olga Saprykina, the NIAT "Khovar"). — Today President of RТ E. Rahmon accepted the US ambassador to RТ Tracey Ann Jacobson. Upon termination of the meeting the ambassador informed journalists that the parties discussed situation in the region and in Afghanistan. The basic attention was paid to Tajikistan contribution and its readiness to support transit of commercial cargoes in Afghanistan.             "We spoke about it in detail when American general David Petreus arrived in Tajikistan. And in the nearest future we expect new delegation from the USA in Tajikistan to discuss in details issues of commercial cargoes' transit in Afghanistan", — noted T.  Jacobson. The ambassador informed that last week the Government of Tajikistan elaborated and gave American side the FEASIBILITY REPORT for the second bridge on the border of Tajikistan with Afghanistan. "We consider this variant. We spoke also with the President about full operation of the bridge in Nizhniy Pianj. The Head of the state promised that the bridge will work 24hour, it is the important step", has underlined T. Jacobson. Besides it parties discussed issues of influence of world financial crisis on economy of RТ, and also E. Rahmon forthcoming visit to Europe.            "I felt readiness of the government of Tajikistan to continue it useful role as the partner in coalition on stabilization in Afghanistan", — noted by T.
