OFICIAL VISIT OF THE PRESIDENT OF TAJIKISTAN E. RAHMON TO MONGOLIA
Dushanbe. 27 March. (NIAT "Khovar", Tojiddin Rizvon). — President Emomali Rahmon has arrived on March 26 evening in Ulan Bator International Airport (ULN) of Mongolia. The meeting of the Head of Tajikistan Emomali Ramon organized in accordance with the protocol of official visits and with the special respects, cordiality and sincerity. The official meetings and negotiations took place on March 27. The solemn ceremony of the official meeting of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and his Mongolian counterpart Nambarin Enkhbayar took place on the stadium before the Mongolia state palace. President Emomali Rahmon was met here by Mongolian President Nambarin Enkhbayar. In the course of the meeting ceremony a national anthem executed of the two states, the head of the two Presidents have paid a tribute of respect to national flags of two countries, and then have presented each other structures of the official delegations. After the meeting ceremony the meeting of heads of the two states — Emomali Rahmon and Nambarin Enkhbayar — in a format "in private" has taken place. «We are ready and to expand the interaction with the Mongolian friends, both in a bilateral format, and within the framework of the international and regional organisations», — the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has expressed in the beginning of the conversation. The interlocutors have underlined, that the unity or affinity of positions of the two states on the basic questions of regional and international relations is a good basis for development of many-sided communications between them. The big attention was paid to the expansion of cooperation in frame of the Shanghai Organisation Cooperation (SOC), including in such directions, as transport, communications, power and struggle against modern threat. Among the basic directions of trade and economic cooperation of the two countries there was noticed an animal industries, industrial milk and meat processing sector, a skin and a wool. It has been recognised by necessary to create the joint commission on economic cooperation. Emomali Rahmon has invited Nambarin Enkhbayar to visit Tajikistan with the official visit. Detailed discussion of questions of strengthening and expansion of the bilateral cooperation has been continued at official negotiations with the participation of the delegations of two sides. On termination of negotiations at presence and with the assistance of the heads of the two states a number of documents on cooperation have been signed. The joint statement of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the President of Mongolia the signatures have fastened by the heads of the two states Emomali Rahmon and Nambarin Enkhbayar. Also the following documents have been signed: The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of Mongolia ontrade and economic cooperation; The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of Mongolia about encouragement and mutual protection of investments; The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of Mongolia about cooperation in the field of veterinary science; The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of Mongolia about cooperation in the field of quarantine and protection of plants. In conclusion the heads of the two states — Emomali Rahmon and Nambarin Enkhbayar — gave a press conference where have expressed satisfaction results of official negotiations. «We have created sufficient contract-legal base for real development of bilateral cooperation», — the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has declared. He has expressed confidence that the results of this visit, is equal as the documents signed on its results, will open wide road for expansion of mutually advantageous relations.
