TWO NEW FEZ PRESENTED IN TAJIKISTAN

              Dushanbe, March, 17. (Beknazari Abubakr, Tojiddin Rizvon, NIAT "Khovar"). — Today in Dushanbe the presentation of two new Free economic zones (FEZ) «Sughd» and «Panj» has taken place. The presentation has been held for the purpose of acquaintance of representatives of private and state sectors of a society, the international organisations, diplomatic representatives with specificity of functioning FEZ. The Deputy minister of economic development and trade RТ Larisa Kisljakova has noticed, that the purpose of creation of Free economic zones in the Republic of Tajikistan are stimulation of development of economic potential of Tajikistan by attraction of investments, effective involving of economy of region and the republic in the international division of labor, increase in an export potential of the republic, town-planning development in territories and other.              With a view of investments attraction for foreign investors, and domestic businessmen it is expected to provide tax and customs tariff preference for subjects of free economic zones. It is planned, that free economic zones will stimulate manufacture of the goods and granting of services, using thus internal possibilities of the Republic of Tajikistan with attraction of new technologies, will create new workplaces and will increase a country export potential. We recall, that the FEZ «Sughd» and «Panj» have been created with the Governmental order of the Republic of Tajikistan from May, 2nd, 2008.              On the basis of the Governmental order of the Republic of Tajikistan the working group at the ministry of economic development and trade had been developed Positions FEZ «Sughd» and «Panj» which have been confirmed by Decisions of Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan from October, 29th, 2008.
