GREEN PATROLS LAUNCH ECOLOGICAL ACTION IN SCHOOLS

              Dushanbe, May 14. (NIAT "Khovar", Payrav Nazarov). — An ecological action, dubbed ‘The Week of Clean Schools', has been launched throughout the country by the Program ‘Green Patrols' of the Public Organization ‘The Youth of the 21st Century'. It embraces more than 70 schools in 11 districts of Tajikistan.              The aim of this annual action, which has already become popular with the young over the past years, is to once more attract the attention of schoolchildren and teachers to constantly sharpening environmental problems, and to initiate volunteer steps of adolescents towards improving ecological situation around them. During this contest of a kind, every educational institution will be assessed according to an eight-point scale of ‘ecologicity'.               Among the organizers of the action is also the OSCE Bureau in Tajikistan.
