THE FIRST VISIT TO LATVIA, LITHUANIA AND ESTONIA

              Dushanbe, January, 15th. (Timur Bandishoev, Olga Saprykina, the NIAT "Khovar"). — The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon will visit Latvia. The chief of the information department of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Davlat Nazriev informed the NIAT "Khovar" about it. As he said in the first half of February E. Rahmon will meet with the Latvian President Valdis Zatlers.               As it is expected, upon termination of his visit to Latvia President of RТ will leave for Bruxelles where will take part in the session work of the European Commission. Then from Belgium the Head of state will pay his official visits to Lithuania and Estonia. D. Nazriev noticed that Emomali Rahmon visits Baltic countries for the first time.              According to the source of information, the large delegation consisting of heads of some ministries and departments, and also business circles of Tajikistan will accompany the President of Tajikistan. In each country the business forum will take place. "It is expected that during visits to the Baltic countries the package of documents on cooperation will be signed", — noted D. Nazriev.
