THIRD NSIFT PROJECT ON POVERTY ALLEVIATION TO BE REALIZED IN KHATLON

            Dushanbe, January, 5th. (Beknazar Abubakr, Olga Saprykina, the NIAT "Khovar"). — The National Social Investment Fund of Tajikistan (NSIFT) is ready to realize its third project on poverty alleviation. As NSIFT manager Abulkosim Kotibov informed the NIAT "Khovar" within the framework of the Tajik-German cooperation in 2009 the project on poverty alleviation is started to be realized in 14 areas of Khatlon region. The total sum of the project makes more than 6,5 million euro.             The investment of the German party to the program makes about 5,5 million euro, and the Government of Tajikistan — more than 1 million euro, and the investment of communities — 300 thousand euro. "It is already the third project on the poverty alleviation executive agency of which is NSIFT. The corresponding agreement is already signed between NSIFT and German Development Bank, and the project is included in the Public Investment Program for 2008-2010", — noticed A. Kotibov.
