ADDRESS OF THE PRESIDENT OF TAJIKISTAN IS PUBLISHED BY EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT MAGAZINE

             Dushanbe, March, 25. (Tojiddin Rizvon, NIAT "Khovar"). — A Wide resonance in political and public circles of Europe was caused by the publication in political magazine «Parliament Magazine», being the edition of the European Parliament full of the text of the address of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon in the Parliament of the European Union and the statement of argument in his conversation with deputies. The both materials premised heading «The Role of normalisation of the situation in the Central Asia». On the first page of the cover the big photograph of the Head of Tajikistan is placed and his words: «We support with the European Union accurate and candid relations for searching the ways of the decision the problems of the Central Asia and struggle against modern challenge and threats» are cited.              Under this citation the editorial text in which is spoken is printed: «the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon supports strengthening of relations with the European Union, increasing of the role of Tajikistan in normalisation of the situation in Afghanistan, energizing the struggle against contraband and increasing the hydro energy potential». The statement of Emomali Rahmon's conversation with deputies of European Parliament covered three pages of the magazine. The special attention in the material is given to valuable suggestions of the Head of Tajikistan about association of the general possibilities and reserves at national, regional and world levels for the purpose of the decision of the sharpest problems of Afghanistan.              The opinion of Emomali Rahmon is noticed, in particular, that the priority should be given not to the military decision of a long-term Afghani problem, and rendering of the social and economic help to this distressful country. As it is marked in the material, this point of view of the Head of Tajikistan has been supported by his interlocutors — deputies of European Parliament. It was informed to Khovar by the press-secretary of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdufattoh Sharifzoda.
